The fire element governs metabolism, digestion, the immune system, the family’s overall health, and the home’s financial vitality.   • The stove should be placed in the south-east corner of the kitchen, not against the north or east wall

  • Best kitchen colours: yellow, orange, red, and cream. These fire and earth tones harmonise with Agni energy and activate appetite and cooking vitality.
  • For a north-east kitchen (defective placement): use yellow and ochre specifically — earth element colours to suppress the fire-in-water conflict. Avoid pure red or bright orange in a defective NE kitchen as these amplify the imbalance.
  • Avoid blue, black, or dark grey in the kitchen — these water and metal colours directly suppress fire energy.
